Shafto House is a welcoming home away from home designed to provide everything you need for a comfortable stay in Newton Aycliffe.

The bright and airy living room is the perfect place to relax after a busy day, featuring comfortable sofas, a Smart TV and large patio doors which allow plenty of natural light into the space whilst providing access to the private rear garden.

The contemporary kitchen diner is fully equipped for self-catered stays and has everything needed to prepare home-cooked meals during your visit. Whether you’re staying for a few nights or several weeks, you’ll have all the appliances, cookware and dining essentials required for a hassle-free stay.

Upstairs, the property sleeps up to five guests across three well-presented bedrooms. The master bedroom features a comfortable double bed, whilst the second bedroom is home to twin single beds. The third bedroom offers a cosy single bed, making the property ideal for families, friends, contractors and business travellers alike. All bedrooms include storage space for belongings along with fresh linen and comfortable bedding to ensure a great night’s sleep.

The modern family bathroom includes a bath with an overhead shower, wash basin and WC.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property and there is private parking available for guests.

Outside, guests can enjoy the enclosed rear garden with decking, providing a pleasant space to sit and unwind during warmer months.

As your stay is self-catered, we provide a small welcome box which includes the basics to get you started. We also supply toilet rolls. Supplies for the remainder of your stay can be purchased from shops nearby.

Transit

The property benefits from excellent transport links with easy access to the A1(M). Darlington is approximately 15 minutes away, Durham around 20 minutes and Teesside International Airport can be reached in under 25 minutes. Newton Aycliffe town centre and train station are also easily accessible.
