Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, booking details, guest information, billing details, correspondence, technical information, cookie preferences and website usage data.
Card numbers and security codes are handled by Stripe and are not stored by our WordPress website.
How we use your information
We use information to:
- respond to enquiries;
- provide availability, quotes and bookings;
- process payments through Stripe;
- create and manage reservations through Guesty;
- send booking confirmations and service communications;
- handle changes, cancellations, support and complaints;
- prevent fraud, duplicate bookings and misuse;
- secure and improve the website; and
- measure website usage through Google Analytics 4 where consent has been given.
Guesty and Stripe
We use Guesty to manage properties, availability, reservations and guest information.
We use Stripe to process payments securely. Stripe may process payment, billing, device and fraud-prevention information. Full payment-card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by us.
For a booking, we may send Guesty your name, email address, telephone number, booking dates, guest count, property, reservation status, amount and payment status.
Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Maps
We use Google Tag Manager to manage website tags and Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website. Analytics cookies and related non-essential technologies are used only after consent.
We use Google Maps features through JetEngine to show property locations and map-based searches. Google may process technical and location-related information when Maps is loaded or used.
Google, Stripe and other suppliers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Appropriate safeguards will be used where required.
Lawful bases
We process information because:
- it is necessary to provide a booking or respond to a booking request;
- we have a legitimate interest in operating, securing and improving our services;
- we must comply with legal or accounting obligations; or
- you have consented, particularly for analytics and optional cookies.
You may withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share information with
We may share information with Guesty, Stripe, WordPress hosting and security providers, Google services, email providers, accountants, professional advisers, insurers, regulators, courts and law-enforcement bodies where necessary.
We do not sell personal information.
Retention
We keep information only for as long as necessary for bookings, customer service, fraud prevention, accounting, legal claims and regulatory obligations. Booking, payment and accounting records may be retained for the period required by applicable law.
Information that is no longer required is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You may have the right to request access to, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal information. You may also object to certain processing, request data portability or withdraw consent.
